"Summit of Mt. Wilson"

Looking East and down at Big Tujunga Canyon, where I camped out all summer as a teenager.

This is home to the Mt. Wilson Observatory, the 100" Hooke reflector telescope,

(The huge objective, nearly 9 feet in diameter, was made by melting down wine bottles!)
