No one sees the robe or hat that I don at night,
When the town is sleeping, and no one else in sight,
I go to my secret room, and with the lights down low,
I take out my magic wand, and make the whole room glow.
I focus on another realm, and dreams begin to float,
I envision magic things, and hear the music notes,
I bring butterflies to life and flowers of many different hues,
And wash the scene in front of me with reds and greens and blues.
With just the tip of my magic wand, sparkles dance about,
Or make the sky seem real to you when the stars come out,
I might make pictures come alive with ripples in a stream,
I might make rain fall from the clouds to share my little dream.
Sometimes I’ll share a memory, that brings us both to tears,
Or put a smile on your face, remembering happy years.
I might create a fantasy that never could come true,
If I think it’s fun enough, and want to share with you.
Harry Potter would confirm, I’ve never been a muggle,
Just to live in the "normal" world has always been a struggle,
I couldn’t go to Hogwarts, I don’t live in that realm,
But if I could I’d change the rules, and try to take the helm.
Sometimes I visit other worlds, where man has never been,
If doors are locked or passage blocked, Imagination get’s me in,
The world is filled with magic, and potions, dreams and spells,
You can always find them here, Where the Wizard dwells.
